What is an App Password?
An app password is a unique 16-digit code that allows applications (like 1C) to access your Google account if they don't support two-factor authentication.
Setup Steps
1. Enable 2-Step Verification in Google

Go to your Google Account security settings

Enable 2-Step Verification
2. Generate an App Password

Navigate to App Passwords section

Choose Other (custom name), enter "1C", and click Generate

Copy the generated 16-digit code
3. Configure Email Sending in 1C

Open Administration → Mail

Create or edit a mail account

Enter the following:

SMTP server:
smtp.gmail.com

Port:
465
(SSL) or587
(TLS) -
Username: your Gmail address

Password: the generated app password

Click Test connection
-
Save the settings
Testing
Send a test email — if set up correctly, it will be delivered.
Important

Do not use your main Google password
-
Gmail imposes a daily sending limit — avoid bulk emails
-
After copying the 16-digit password — remove the spaces!
